Concert at the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle
On September 19, InterVal performed at the Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle (Konkatedrala Svetog Petra Apostola) in Bar with a programme spanning more than four centuries of music.
From Renaissance polyphony and the music of Gabriel Fauré (where Dmitrii Grinikh performed the solo parts) to traditional Ukrainian and Russian songs, the concert brought together different eras, cultures and musical traditions — reflecting the international spirit of InterVal.
The evening was warmly received by the audience and was especially meaningful to us, as this church and the Bar Parish (Župa Bar) have become an important part of our musical life in Bar.
We are sincerely grateful to Don Albert Jakaj, parish priest of Bar, to the Archdiocese of Bar (Barska nadbiskupija), and to the Archbishop of Bar, Monsignor Rrok Gjonlleshaj, for their support, hospitality and the opportunity to share our music in this remarkable place.
